Got the fire TV stick 4K promptly. But the Amazon batteries which came in the pack was completely DEAD! I was trying to pair the remote with the Firestick for an hour but no luck. Finally checked the battery voltage to find they were dead. Put in a couple of new batteries and it paired easily. WHO WOULD IMAGINE THAT NEW BATTERIES IN THE PACK WIULD BE DEAD? I presume that this product was lying in Amazon stock for years and years until the batter just died. I wonder how many customers are going through the same pairing struggle without realising that the supplied batteries are dead.
